About Us
Paula DiGiuseppe
Paula is the founder of La Luna Wellness Studio. With a passion for living life to the fullest Paula has made it her mission to help give back positive light, energy, love and healing to her environment and the people within her community.
Spending the past 22 years studying and 13 years teaching the art of dance, this lead Paula in the direction of studying the art & love of Yoga. Completing her 200 hr YTT certification with Yoga Alliance back in 2016 & applying her self to yoga workshops and events she has been working non stop in exploring the movement of the human body and the connections we make along our journey body soul & mind.
By working within the community of Thunder Bay Paula has been able to provide private personalized yoga lessons, variety in different styles of yoga classes, mindfulness teachings as well as adult & teen dance lessons.
Paula has created La Luna Wellness Studio so that you can take yourself further into the practice of asana (yoga), meditation and mindfulness all while in a safe space to grow, explore and heal.

Vinyasa Yoga
Flow class you will synchronize breath with movement. Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a mindful flow. In a Vinyasa class, students awaken their strength, energy, and flexibility in a fun atmosphere. With this class, you will learn and practice the tools needed to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle, while also remaining mindful in every act you perform.
Chair Yoga
Chair Yoga is for everyone. No matter what age you are or what condition you are in you can experience the health benefits of yoga. You can perform most yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation, and relaxation techniques from a chair.
Hatha
Hatha yoga is the most widely practiced form of yoga. It is the branch of yoga which concentrates on physical health and mental well-being.
Hatha yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dhyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. There are nearly 200 hatha yoga postures, with hundreds of variations, which work to make the spine supple and to promote circulation in all the organs, glands, and tissues. Hatha yoga postures also stretch and align the body, promoting balance and flexibility.
Hot Power Flow
A fitness-based approach to Vinyasa style flow. Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a vigorous and mindful flow. In a power yoga class, students will build strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind all while in a heated room. You can expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with breath work.
Restorative Yin
A meditate experience for both the mind and body! Restorative and Yin yoga poses require little or no muscular exertion; each post is held for three minutes with or without the use of props (blankets, bolsters, and blocks). Without the distraction of constant movement and muscle engagement, your connective tissues have the opportunity to stretch and release. Though you will receive intentional guidance during the class to notice any thoughts of sensations arising in your body; this is practice of silence and stillness. Participants leave feeling grounded, well rested, and nourished; with a new cultivated awareness. No yoga or meditation experience is needed and all levels are welcome. **Can be done with heat added to the room**
